About

Andrew was a 2009 graduate of Dinuba High School. He was involved in sports, and played Varsity football, basketball, and baseball. He also participated in the DHS choir and was on the Madrigals. After high school, Andrew attended Reedley College and subsequently transferred to Fresno State. During his college years, Andrew coached at Dinuba High School. He was the head coach of the Freshman Boys Baseball team and Junior Varsity Basketball team. Andrew also donated his time to the Dinuba Recreation Youth Sports Program and Monson-Sultana School Sports program. Andrew was at his best when he was around young people.

Andrew also worked as a substitute teacher for Dinuba High School and Monson-Sultana School. Andrew graduated fro Fresno State with a degree in History in May of 2015. Andrew planned on becoming a History teacher and was working on securing his teaching credential. Sadly, just two months after his graduation, Andrew passed away in a car accident on July 19, 2015.

Andrew loved life and lived Aloha. He lived each day as though it was his last. He was a kind, caring, silly, generous man. He was a friend to many. Andrew loved God, his family, Maui, Disney, the San Francisco Giants, the San Jose Sharks, the Golden State Warriors, Fresno State Bulldogs and the Dinuba Emperors.

Andrew understood the value of an education and loved his hometown of Dinuba. He understood that it was his turn to give back to the community that helped raise him. To honor Andrew's commitment to education and love for working with the youth, this foundation has been established in his name to continue his vision and keep his legacy alive. ​
